Trump’s favorite insult is to call someone man’s best friend.

Yesterday Glenn Beck told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly that he wasn’t sure that Trump would be a better president than Hillary Clinton. Trump, as is his wont, turned to Twitter to undermine Beck’s credibility, gloating about how Beck was once “fired like a dog.”

This is not the first time Trump has called someone a dog on Twitter. In Trump’s world, Mac Miller, a rapper with whom he feuded over a song called “Donald Trump,” is a dog:

Arianna Huffington is a dog:

Kristen Stewart is also a dog:

This isn’t even the first time that Trump has celebrated someone being “fired like a dog,” a phrase that is simultaneously menacing and meaningless, because dogs don’t have jobs and therefore can’t be fired:
