“I’m a negotiator like you folks,” Donald Trump told the Republican Jewish Coalition.

Trump’s speech to the group on Thursday was full of gems. Like all politicians, Trump tweaked his usual stump speech for his audience. It’s just that Trump did this by adding some Jewish stereotypes. Like, “Is there anyone in this room who doesn’t negotiate deals? Probably more than any room I’ve ever spoken.” He slightly changed his usual line about being so rich he could finance his own campaign and therefore couldn’t be bought: “I don’t want your money so therefore you’re probably not going to support me.” He also said, “Stupidly, you want to give money.” Again, slightly restating his critique of Jeb Bush being controlled by his donors, Trump said: “That’s why you don’t want to give me money, OK? You want to control your own politician.” He also noted that since his daughter converted to Judaism, he can’t call her on Saturdays.

When asked whether  Jerusalem is the undivided capital of Israel, Trump dodged. And was booed.
