It may have appeared that President Barack Obama wept when the murder of 20 first-graders came up during his announcement of an executive order on gun control today, but some conservatives want you to look again.
In a Fox segment following Obama’s speech, Fox News host Andrea Tantaros remarked that she “would check that podium for like a raw onion or some No More Tears. ... It’s not really believable. And the award goes to … we are in awards season.” Her co-host Meghan McCain agreed, claiming Obama’s emotions did not seem “authentic.”
Meanwhile on Twitter, John Nolte, who is listed as an editor-at-large at Breitbart.com, suggested Obama had intentionally generated the tears by introducing a foreign substance into his eyes during his speech.
