The Staples-Office Depot merger has been blocked for the sake of corporate customers.

You know what they say: buying one overpriced ink cartridge is a tragedy, but buying one million overpriced ink cartridges is a statistic. For this reason, the FTC voted today to prevent office supply retail giants Staples and Office Depot from merging into one Staples-Depot mega-chain.
