Abigail Breslin will carry a watermelon in ABC’s Dirty Dancing remake.

The Scream Queens/Little Miss Sunshine actress will star as Baby, the role originally played by Jennifer Grey (pre nose-job) in the 1987 classic.

Thankfully, the TV movie will still be set in the early 1960s Catskills, and the original movie’s screenwriter, Eleanor Bergstein, is executive producing. (Another half-point for the adaptation’s accuracy: Breslin is half-Jewish.) None of the other characters have been cast yet, so it’s time to offer suggestions. To replace Patrick Swayze in the role of dreamboat goyish dance instructor, is there anyone better than Channing Tatum?
