Thieves return stolen items to police, wish them “happy holidays.”

Isn’t it wonderful how the holidays bring people together? According to the Associated Press, a group of thieves accidentally made off with a shipment of armbands meant for the French national police while stealing Louis Vuitton products from a delivery center earlier this month.

Overnight on December 24, as if propelled by Santa’s sleigh, they left the armbands (though not the Louis Vuitton goods) outside the police station in Saint-Quentin-Fallavie with a thoughtful note: “An unexpected windfall, luxury clothing targeted without weapons or violence. Happy holidays to all.”
