A North Dakota man was arrested in Washington, D.C. today for allegedly planning to kidnap the First Dog of the United States. Responding to a tip from the Secret Service that Scott Stockert had traveled to D.C. to abduct Bo Obama, police stopped him at a downtown hotel, where he admitted to having a shotgun, rifle, and ammunition in his truck.

According to the police report, Stockert claimed his parents were John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, and that he himself was Jesus Christ. He also reportedly told police he was in D.C. to announce his campaign for the presidency. It is still unclear why he wanted to kidnap Bo.
