Kanye West dropped a new track on Soundcloud today called “Real Friends,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign; problem is, the version he uploaded to the site wasn’t perfect. (It also happened to contain a snippet of an unreleased track produced by Madlib and featuring Kendrick Lamar, “No More Parties in L.A.”) Moreover: Judging by Kim Kardashian West’s tweets, Kanye’s schedule of releasing new songs every week is a return to G.O.O.D. Fridays—when he dropped a new, free song every week before the release of his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. (NB: Yeezy keeps uploading “Real Friends” and pulling it back down, so keep refreshing his Soundcloud page until you can stream it.)
Un momento, there was a slight distortion in the main loop within Real Friends.

It will be back up shortly. When it’s back up all rippers please rip the new one instead.

New version is up. Please please erase the old one I wasn’t satisfied with the sound quality.

Technology is hard! “Real Friends,” however, is great: Soulful, deeply felt, and catchy—it scans as a return (in the most general terms) to MBDTF-era West. Peak ‘Ye, in other words.
I hope you have a nice weekend.
