Weeks after leading an armed takeover of a federal building in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, Bundy and several of his fellow insurrectionists were arrested on Tuesday during a traffic stop.

Bundy and five of his men, including his brother Ryan, were detained, according to federal and local officials. While CNN says it remains unclear who opened fire first, at least one militant is dead. The group had been en route from Malheur to a meeting of supporters in nearby John Day.
