Tonight’s GOP debate was just a ton of screaming.

Maybe there was a point when respectable candidates felt that resisting Trumpish tantrum-throwing was a more likely pathway to the presidential nomination than giving in and joining the meltdown. But with each candidate Trump steamrolls out of the race, the act-like-an-adult approach looks less and less certain. And tonight, that showed. 

It would be impossible to transcribe the full extent of the night’s shouting, name-calling, buzzer-ignoring, Blitzer-blasting, and cross-talking, as CNN’s captioner seemed to realize at one point:
