Correction of the day.

Wednesday is barely underway, and already Wired has broken the internet with this humdinger of a correction:

The fact that Tanz was writing about the internet memes that have cropped up alongside news coverage of the election made some suspicious that the correction might be a joke. But Tanz confirmed via Twitter that it is, in fact, real. “It is,” he told me, “although it’s generated a lot of traffic. We should do it again next week.”
