Jorge Ramos is not messing around.

Not that he’s been going easy on Bernie Sanders, but at the Democratic debate moderator Ramos has hit Hillary Clinton hard. When Ramos brought up her email scandal, Clinton gave the same answer she’s been giving for months, insisting that she’s in the clear and that “it was permitted.” But then Ramos raised her one, asking her if she would drop out of the race if she were indicted. Clinton bristled, “Oh for goodness, that is not going to happen, I’m not even going to answer that question.”

Ramos followed with an aggressive line of questioning on the invasion of Libya, drawing boos from the crowd for even mentioning the word “Benghazi.” He has also prevented both candidates from dancing around his questions, using follow-ups to nail their positions, most notably on deportations of immigrant children.
