After watching a professional team do an exquisite tango during a state dinner in Argentina, Barack and Michelle Obama were asked to join the dance floor. Obama seemed initially reluctant, and for good reason. Paired with an expert, he was more of a shuffler than a dancer. His style can best be described as dad-dancing. In the video we have, Michelle is mostly off camera but when she can be seen she shows herself to be more agile on her feet. Still, in public diplomacy like this, it’s being a good sport that counts, and the Obamas acquitted themselves well.
