In September 2003, over half of Americans (55%) thought that taking military action against Iraq was the right thing to do, while 32 percent thought it was the wrong thing. When asked today, if at the time military action began, did they think taking military action was the right or wrong thing, under half (46%) say they thought then taking military action was the right thing to do while two in five (39%) thought it was the wrong thing.Michael Crowley
