Does his church have a "pastor appreciation" day?
Passing the plate is a common way for churches to raise money. But in many black churches the plate is also passed for the pastor. Is this what happens in Wright's church? Is this money counted as a gift from his congregants and, thus, not taxable to him? Or is it counted as a supplement to salary and, thus, taxable by the I.R.S.?
Does money talk in this church?
Does sex talk in this church?
Is the bible studied as a text? For deeper meanings, perhaps?
Is all of the preacher's talk hyped-up talk?
Is there a Mrs. Wright? What role does she play in the church?
Maybe I'll have other questions.
