Unlike most, I quite liked Paul Haggis's Crash (though it did absolutely steal the Oscar that should have been Brokeback's). Still, this sounds to me like a really, really bad idea:
SANTA FE–Governor Bill Richardson today announced the television series, Crash, based on the Academy Award-winning motion picture, will be shot in New Mexico.
