Following up on Christina's post about the Chinese government's censorship of a painting of the Bird's Nest Stadium, it's worth noting that Ai Weiwei, the Chinese artist who was the design consultant for the stadium itself, is a vocal critic of the Chinese government. Indeed, as Ai explains in The Guardian, he is going to boycott the Olympic opening ceremonies that are being held in the stadium he helped design.
