...with faint praise just now was former New Jersey Governor Christie Todd Whitman, who was asked on MSNBC whether Palin is ready to be president:
"That's hard to say about anybody," Whitman replied. "Is anybody prepared to be president?"
This, you may recall, was basically the line Bill Clinton used about Barack Obama recently, stirring outrage and condemnation.
