The crowd is peppered with shouting protesters tonight (Mark Salter must be having a heart attack!) but I'm not sure the crowd's response--loud chants of "USA! USA!" are the right response. I'm guessing the tinny shouts are hard to hear on TV but the chanting stops McCain in his tracks. It's an overcompensation.
