Remarkable that it's McCain, in response to a question about negative campaigning, who would first bring up the charge--via John Lewis--that McCain has exploited race.
But it seems like a winner for Obama to respond to a broadside from McCain about debate process and public financing by returning to the financial crisis and "the big problems here in America".
The era of no eye contact is over, that's for sure.
