The Hill reported earlier this week that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and National Association of Manufacturers are enthusiastic about a big stimulus/infrastructure package. This hasn't gotten much attention--the report's two days old--but it's a pretty big deal. If big business lobbies support the idea, plenty of Republicans are likely to, as well. This could give President Obama a big victory on his first priority.
