You don't break bread with Larry Kudlow because you want a rich intellectual exchange. You break bread with Kudlow because he's a buffoon, and can be flattered.
I was very impressed. He's a nice guy, terribly smart, well-informed, great smile. He just really engaged. He said he likes to know the arguments on all sides.
Krauthammer, I'm afraid, is made of stronger stuff.
