I don't know, Mike, I think Glenn Greenwald would take issue with the "good and wise man" bit. I see the CW is quickly forming that Daschle is simply too important to Obama for Obama to dump him. Which is true. That said, doesn't that make Obama's reliance on him even more hypocritical?
