In joining the crew at CNBC, this week former DNC chairman Howard Dean became the latest politico to turn press corps. Dean--once touted as a potential Secretary for Health and Human Services--continues a long tradition of politicians who, due to election losses, scandals, or prison, were forced to reconsider their original professions. In today's TNR slideshow, we round up recent politicians who took up journalism as second careers.
