Former Rep. Larry LaRocco says of this election, "This is heroin for political junkies. If you’re not running, it’s fun." But wait. What do political junkies want with heroin? I'm a political junkie and I don't want heroin. It seems to me that heroin for political junkies is the equivalent of politics for heroin junkies -- i.e., worthless at best, dangerous at worst.
