Hillary Clinton is crushing Bernie Sanders in the labor endorsement race by 13 million members.

That gap was even wider before the Vermont senator scored his biggest union endorsement yet on Thursday: the Communications Workers of America, which has 700,000 members.

Sanders now has at least five national union endorsements, including National Nurses United and the American Postal Workers Union, totaling more than 1 million members. But Clinton has won the backing of AFSCME, SEIU, the American Federation of Teachers, the National Education Association, and North America’s Building Trades, which, combined with several smaller endorsements, totals some 14 million members.

In other words, the union race is already over. True, the AFL-CIO—whose president, Richard Trumka, can be seen embracing Sanders in the photo above—still hasn’t endorsed a candidate, but they likely won’t do so until the race is already decided.
