After sharing screen-time with Zach Galifianakis, Marc Maron, and Bear Grylls, Obama will be the first guest on season 7 of Crackle’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the web series where Seinfeld gets coffee in cars with comedians.
Seinfeld claims that Obama qualifies as a comedian (in a car, getting coffee) because, “He’s done some really good work as a monologist at those correspondents dinners.” But no, the president isn’t actually a comedian, so we’ll all have to suspend disbelief when the episode premieres on December 30.
Seinfeld came to the White House a couple weeks ago to film the episode and drive around with Obama in a 1963 Corvette. (And then they took the above photo, which leads me to type a sentence I never thought I would write: Obama and Seinfeld kind of... look alike?)
