Bernie Sanders actually has one thing in common with Republicans—he doesn’t love this Paris agreement.

Sanders, of course, is the exact opposite of Republicans on most things climate. He accepts climate change is real and thinks the U.S. should be doing much more than it is to combat greenhouse gas pollution. Nevertheless, Sanders delivered a lukewarm statement on what’s likely to be the final deal reached in Paris

“While this is a step forward it goes nowhere near far enough,”  Sanders said on Saturday. “The planet is in crisis. We need bold action in the very near future and this does not provide that.”

Republicans have had a very different kind of reaction to events in Paris, but Sanders and the 2016 GOP presidential field at least can agree on one thing. They don’t like how it went down.
