Dr. Waitman Wade Beorn is an
historian of the Holocaust and genocide, a senior lecturer at Northumbria
University, and the
author of Marching Into
Darkness: The Wehrmacht and the Holcaust in Belarus and The Holocaust
in Eastern Europe: At The Epicenter of the Final Solution. A graduate of West Point, Beorn served in Iraq as a cavalry scout platoon
leader and staff officer.
